Rhea Waite, N.D.
Mother. Avid Knitter. Wilderness Lover. Wild Heart Warrior.
Born into a line of women healers, Dr. Rhea grew up in rural Vermont, witnessing the magical power of nature. It was here and through her own health journey where she fostered a lifelong love of natural medicine through interests in herbalism, cooking, nutrition, nature, and the body’s incredible innate ability to heal itself.
Dr. Waite earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Master of Acupuncture from National University of Natural Medicine, an accredited program in Portland, OR. While there she completed a 4-year internship in family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, physical medicine, and acupuncture.
Dr. Rhea currently practices Integrated Functional Medicine in Vermont where she combines her love of natural medicine with conventional, research-based medicine to help individuals of all ages live healthy, happy lives. Using a healing-oriented model, Dr. Rhea tailors treatments to the needs of the individual. With an inside-out, whole-bodied, approach to your care, she utilizes botanical medicine, conventional medicine, body work, acupressure, tuning-fork acupressure, energetic medicine, medical aesthetics, nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and deep spirit work. Her goal is to help people fully become themselves without apology, to recognize their own strengths, to know their limits, and to learn how to nourish their bodies for optimal health and wellness.
When not in the office, Dr. Rhea enjoys time with her two wildlings and husband playing, hiking in the woods, skiing, knitting, gardening, cooking and binge-watching Netflix.
