Thyroid Health
Every cell in the body is dependent on thyroid hormone for healthy metabolism. For this reason, having optimal thyroid functioning is key to feeling good. Thyroid hormone plays a role in your sex hormones, immune system, energy, fertility, and so much more. An under-functioning thyroid will result in fatigue, weight gain, hair thinning/loss, constipation, puffiness, dry skin, muscle weakness, sensitivity to cold. Conversely, an over active thyroid will cause sweating, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fatigue, muscle weakness, mood swings, diarrhea, unsafe weight loss. Working with a doctor familiar with the nuances of your thyroid health is key to feeling your best.
Neural Therapy
The automomic nervous system (ANS) is responsible for regulating your body. Illness, injury, pain, dental work, scarring, infections, surgery will create interference with the ANS to properly communicate with cells. Neural therapy uses local anesthetic to restore the autonomic nervous system to its optimal function. Often known as trigger point therapy, procaine is injected under the skin to reset the ANS at the site of concern. Clients need an initial consultation and will not receive injections on same day.

How does the slimming treatment work?
The treatment works by triggering apoptosis of the fat cells. Cooling the tissue crystalizes the fat cell triggering programed self destruction of those cells. In the days following the treatment the cellular debris is removed via the lymph system naturally.
What does it feel like?
The skin is warmed slightly to excite the tissue. Following the gentle warming you will feel a cold sensation as the provider moves the wand across your skin while massaging your skin. Generally people find the sensation to be cooling and pleasant. It is non-invasive and not painful.
What is the down time? Can I return to work?
There is no down time for this procedure. You may return to your regularly scheduled life immediately following treatment.
How many treatments do I need?
Best results are seen after 5+ treatments
What are the Adverse effects?
There are few. Sometimes localized redness that disappears after a few hours. Sometimes some delayed onset muscle soreness that rarely exceeds 2 to 3 hours. Itching can occur usually due to products used on the skin by clients. For this reason it is advised that you avoid using heavy products on the skin the day of treatment. It is also normal after slimming treatments for clients to experience increased urination and/or change in color or smell.
Is there anything I can do to maximize my results?
Yes! Dr. Waite will give you a lymph massage protocol to follow after your treatment.

How it works:
Using a specialized, FDA-approved Medical Plasma device, it works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the natural gasses emitted from just above the skin to form an ionized gas charge called plasma. This tiny arc of electricity shortens, contracts and tightens targeted skin tissue instantly by stimulating the fibroblast cells. Your skin’s natural healing process goes into hyperdrive, encouraging your body to create new fibroblast cells. This stimulates the production of collagen which enhances natural volume and elastin which firms the skin. How long will it take to see results?
Results can be seen immediately after treatment. Final results might take a full ten weeks.
How many treatments are needed?
For the maximum result 3 treatments are recommended. However, many people achieve a look they are satisfied with after the first treatment. Treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart with full results seen 10 weeks after the last treatment.
